lot episode mortgage daddiy cam Goldstone local realtor Fitness Guru one
of my buddies for a long time happy to have you on my man thanks for having me guys appreciate it by cam yeah hey this
place looks a little bit different from last time I was here yeah we put a lot of work into it since the last time you were here really wanted we had a vision
that we were trying to make took a lot of back and forth a lot of fights with Sarah a lot of arguments but we got
there just never fights with Sarah and we can’t even figure out the JGA game I know I’m sitting here looking
at these wood blocks here what am I supposed to do with these things we have to play this game she she yelled at us on the last episode that we didn’t and
we didn’t talk about the room so we had strict instruction and so far we’re two for two so am I supposed to take one of
these blocks take one read the question answer it up and then I’ll go if you knock it over on the first time though
we got to that be awesome that is a rogue first one all those mles this is going to get real
challenging I got to read this handwriting let’s see I haven’t seen these would you ever marry a sugar daddy
or Sugar Mama man that’s a tough question would I
ever would depends of course of course depends on the circumstance but yeah
probably yeah I mean I think you fall in love with the Sugar Mama too I mean like do you get to pick what they look like
though yeah like are they or like are you sacrificing one for the other I think it would determine based on their
bank account right are we talking million or we talking at
least at least like eight figures so you need a
sugar like it boggles my mind when you see these relationships and it’s like this like -year-old guy that looks like a frail dying person and it’s this
smoke show -year-old the just no matter how much money there is that’s what I’m talking
about is there even like an inkling of physical attraction or you just going straight after the money because if that’s the case you can’t do it like I
real yeah I mean like are we talking amillion inheritance like guaranteed $million so you’re telling she could
live for like years what she could live for like years like what if she was like yo you just have to bring
the a game this guy works out all the time he’s not going to let her stay around for handle all of this that’s
what I’m saying he would break her it might be five days million five days I don’t know about so you’re Bing on
like the short lifespan I’m going hard he’s going to be pouring some weird stuff I’m taking her out to the club
we’re smoking cigars we’re doing whatever all the [ __ ] she doesn’t want to do she’s in bed by and you’re right there with
her she makes me exhausted just looking at it maybe my mind changed put a briefcase of cash
right a lot of money yeah guys million now remember you’re not you’re
single you’re not married no kids so you have no attachments the alternative is this I I this is a very very passionate
subject right as you can tell for $million you’re not going to hang out with a lady who just needs some
companionship I could golf like every day you can do whatever you want yeah that’s a good point yeah yeah make the
sacrifice we’re going to have to see the bank account and what she looks like I think anything over million I don’t even have to see what anybody looks like
else yeah but like is it are you like exclusive to her forever I mean right sounds like she’s like it’s almost
like you’re in jail just getting a bunch of money you got to go home to the same person day that looks a certain way live with that person somebody brought up to
they were but what if that sugar mom is gnarly I don’t know I don’t know it
depends if it’s an open she doesn’t make me sign a prenup oh no you get the money at the
end yeah no matter what at the end so you’re in that what do you mean that’s what I’m saying that’s a difference all your good years away yeah that’s
terrible no answer is no I’m I’m with you yeah no sure sure done yeah well
if you’re out there you’re and you have a lot of money I have a wife and kids we’re here we’re here C do you have
a wife and kids No I have a girlfriend though you know what for million bucks you don’t have a girlfriend anymore she’d be on board for million
bucks % convince her she’ll be the we can definitely do it yeah Craig I think it’s your turn to pull one of those
things what do I do with this am I supposed to like put this back on top back on there let’s see how long this can go
for Craig’s just going to take it down plock number two smash the whole thing this is the one I didn’t
want that one’s I thought that
was he’s getting nervous now would you wear the same clothes two days in a row my name’s not Jared meth here so I
would not wear the same clothes two days in a row if if I could avoid it I mean
maybe if you know you’re out and yet you were gone you didn’t have a choice but not on purpose not on purpose no like no
one wants to wear can you imagine wearing cams after he works out as much as this guy work out throwing it on zero
chance I mean maybe the same pair of pants but definitely not the same top not the same top no not the same socks
that’s just gross it’s all gross some people do though that is nasty I think I should have gone say
mundies I definitely can’t do this one can you name four Kardashians
yes Kim Kardashian Kardashian I’m done Rob oh Rob
Kardashian think you say Courtney and Courtney where chlo what was the
Mother’s Chloe Chris Chris yeah is that like the Loy question on this no the the
the whatever all right we’re gonna leave that alone put that back on there we go make sure that one’s done enough of the
games let’s get to it all right so I I was excited to have you on this we’ve talked a lot about this over the years
and stuff you know you and I have had kind of a similar path we both were in public safety out of high school did
that for a while and then wanted to kind of do something different got into something else other than that which is
I think hard and not a lot of people do right you know what what kind of LED you to want to not necessarily get out
because you were a CO right yeah yeah so I was a CO I think two I worked for the uh for the state so the Department of
Correction up in bridgew water uh I got the job in end of into I think hit so two years into the job um I
had worked most of the positions within the prison and I think I just found myself uh getting bored or stagnant and
I had worked in sales my whole life before that job so I was always in some sort of like whe whether I was selling
wine or working at General Nutrition Center or I worked for Nestle Waters for a bit selling water to different companies so I work commission based a
lot and when you’re in the prison you don’t get paid more for being a better employee you get paid the same so I
think I just got kind of bored um my aunt at the time was selling real estate I had two of my best friends had just gotten their real estate licenses too so
I was like they’re flipping houses like let me get my license and see what happens I never envisioned that I would turn into a a realtor A salesperson and
one thing kind of spiraled after the other um and against a lot of pressure from people that I worked with you know
they were all like kid you know what what are you doing getting another job we make such good money here you have a pension you can go after like you’re
never actually going to pursue this field you’re just wasting your time um but you just kind of got to do what you
want to do yeah man I remember when you know I was there and and the same thing you know I started doing this and and I
was very hesitant to do it because you see so many guys that you work with that try
to do something else whether it’s sell Shakeology solar real estate whatever it
is you know a lot of guys are either work a second job on my side of things like on the EMS side maybe some trades
guys but a lot of people like you know try to make that quick but doing some type of a sales thing on the side you
know kind of had this stigma to it and you know I was worried about that because I’m like I don’t want to be that
guy that is you know doing this and just trying to make money off all the guys I work with so when I started you know I
didn’t even really try to talk I mean people talk to me about it but I didn’t really try to like push it or talk to
the guys about it much to try to get anything because I didn’t want that to be the case you know but luckily I was
able to you know grow fairly quickly and kind of do a good job but before like I felt like I was really ready to take on
you know that I didn’t really want to go after anybody that I worked with because I didn’t want to be that next like guy
trying to sell Shakeology at the dinner table and then a year later you’re not doing it anymore right yeah and you know
and then you make a switch to something else so I was really really like hesitant about it but then once I did it
and it took off then the conversation came about how long am I going to do this for right and that was one of the
hardest decisions that I’ve ever made in my life you know I went back and forth for with Vern for a very long time you
know I talked to my dad about it for a lot I talked to other people that have done something similar you know where they were a firefighter and they were
making a move whether it was a construction company that was very successful you know I talked to Roland voo a little bit about it and a few
other guys that did that you know and they they kind of all gave me the same answer like you know you got to follow
your dreams and follow your passion you know the fire department is great but like you said you only are going to make
so much money right you can only make you can only even if you work over time you can only work so many physical hours
in a day correct so there’s really no way to make you know times or five times the amount of money that you’re
making it’s not physically possible and it became kind of like I’m not going to say a deadend job but it kind of felt
like that like you felt like you were stuck like you could move up the ranks a little bit you could become a a captain
or you can become you know the deputy and it make some more money but at the end of the day you know you’re very tied
to this place and you’re very tied to the amount of money that you could make so you know it was a really really hard
decision for me and I got a ton of why the hell would you ever leave the fire department % why would you do this
% you have a pension you have stability you know you have guaranteed income why would you leave and it was a
hard thing for people to understand because they never I don’t think were in that position and they don’t understand
you know what I mean I I think some of that comes from their own insecurity too like they they want the people that say
that they want to do what you did they they there’s no question that they don’t think about it all the time but again
they have people chirping in their ears and they’re succumbing to the pressure of like I can’t leave this pension on the table you know for me it was more so
I got I balanced both for five years and I ended up getting hurt back in I
got hurt on the job I had a series of knee surgeries three of them over months um so that gave me time to get my
broker’s license and obviously the market this was during Co the market was getting hot so I started to do well year
over year I was doing better and better and I was out of work for I think a little bit over a year before I went
back and um being detached from work I’ve began to realize that like I was
changing my my personality was changing I was darker my sense of humor was different I was so jaded from being in
there for almost years and you don’t realize it until you’re removed from the situation you’re just negative no matter how positive you are in that place
you’re always going to be negative it’s going to have an impact on you and especially where the job I was doing being a corrections officer we don’t
have our cell phones where inside with the inmates for to hours day I worked second shift so : to : and my
days off for Monday Tuesday for eight years basically right so it’s like I worked every Friday Saturday and Sunday
to the best days right and if I wanted those days off I’d have to work a double on another day we called them
swaps so I could get the other day off and I never got time off because I had low seniority so the old-timers got all
the time off in the books so it’s just like this cycle that just continues and continues and you just keep chasing that
pension the years the years and then a lot of guys that get to those and years they keep working because they’re now chasing the step raises that
the government keeps offering you the state keeps offering it’s sick so it’s like I got good advice from somebody once and it was like actually was my
buddy Kyle cabal from cs energy for years he tried to get me to leave he’s like just just leave go do the real estate thing I’m like I can’t and uh he
was like you have to take the gamble take the leap of faith and figure it out if it’s like you said Chase your dream if that’s truly what you want to do then
you’ll figure it out you know if it’s meant to be it’s meant to be and it’s the greatest thing that I’ve ever done that feel like a new person you know
yeah and I mean I feel like you know with this type job that we do it’s commission based so you don’t you’re not
guaranteed a paycheck which makes you have to work harder right with that job it was like the opposite hardest part
was showing up J you show up but then like as the years went on you know you’re getting paid the same as the guy
next to you who’s not doing anything or not doing half of what you’re doing and eventually it just ends up bringing you
down because you’re like why am I going to do all this extra work or why am I going to bust my butt why am I going to stay in shape to do this when nobody
else is and they’re getting the exact same amount of money right but now coming to this side it’s like well there’s no guaranteed paycheck I have to
go out and earn what I’m going to make and it makes you it gives like for me it was great because I think I’m a pretty
competitive person I mean ask my sister if she’ll play wle ball with me she probably won’t because we’ve had some
incidents but uh you know it it makes me want to just be better and do more every single day and continue to grow the
business and I think for both of us I mean it definitely was a lot easier because we a we were able to make some
sort of a transition you know we didn’t just necessarily quit and start a brand new profession because it’s tough to
make it in either one of these fields I mean a lot of people try and a lot of people fail whether you know they’re
just not the right type of personalities or they not really know the right people support or yeah they don’t really
they’re not in the right situation so you know I’m not saying go out there and and quit your day job and go try to do
something different tomorrow but at the same time you can’t be afraid to try something different you got to have a
plan for sure have a goal and have a plan do you find that a lot of people that you used to work with ask you now
how you did it like right where was the same people that were doubting you are now asking you right cuz they see your
success um it’s so super interesting I thought you guys find that you’re almost scared to give them the Playbook because
it’s so hard to do it and you understand the sacrifice that it takes so I I
definitely we all have friends it’s like oh you’re doing this you’re doing well that I’m like you don’t understand like
you don’t punch the clock like you said you go punch in from what is it to : or you work in second shift there’s
no punching in there’s no punching out like you’re on the clock you’re in a Ruba on vacation you’re cheing your
phone like and I think that’s like the the big disconnect like when I’m just talking to people like you never stop
like that phone’s ringing it’s money on the other side if you don’t answer somebody else’s like if it’s not that
mentality and I have friends that I’m like oh You’ probably do really well in the real estate business but what
happens am I going to get that phone call from your spouse or your kids or you when you have a little adversity in
in the market and everybody wants to pack it up because the interest rates went up months in a row and they’re
moving or inventory is really low like as soon as they have that adversity is they like hey cam you told me to leave
the the CEO right I had a I had a pension like those are some reservations like I know when I was talking to Craig
when he was you know trying to figure it out and make that decision I’m like Craig you’ve made more money in one
month than you have made in an entire year so you just have to duplicate that month in month out and live off % of
that right right and figure it out yeah and at the same time as quality of life too you know like I’ve always done
better now in real estate than my best year in corrections but even if I made less money my quality of life now is just so much better it really is it’s so
hard to explain to anybody that’s never done the job before but it’s it’s true how many times have you called out since
you’ve been self-employed as a real estate agent you’re like I’m I’m sick today it’s just never happens no no the
day-to-day is is so different and every morning that I would have to go to work I wanted I woke up and my first thought
I felt like I was in high school again like I’m not going to school today I’m not going to workday I’m calling out sick that was the first thing on my mind like I just didn’t want to go to work
now it’s just different you just wake up and work there hasn’t been a single day that I don’t want to come to work no since I started and I don’t I and I
really do think that it’s not for everybody like there’s guys you know I
brought over somebody that wanted to try to do it I love the kid you know he’s a great guy he’s a family man he you know
he works hard but it this lifestyle is just not for yeah it’s not meant for everybody for sure some people are are
great and and they want to work by the time clock and they want their responsibilities to stay at work when they’re done at work um and I and I will
say since I’ve been gone that is something that I do miss over time is being on vacation for two weeks hanging
up the boots and going to Mexico and not answering any work is is done it’s in the closet pluses and minus everything I
mean that’s definitely one of the biggest minuses on this side is that you never can shut it off no you know whether it’s a holiday you’re off you’re
home with your family people are calling you texting you questions but it’s part of it but you know people don’t see that
they see the money that you make oh this is great you’re you’re doing all these things you’re making all this money they don’t understand how hard and how much
time and effort you put in it’s not a to five gig right and even the
stressors of if you have a few bad months like you said the interest rates get spiked you’re not having the same year you had the year before it’s like
you have to deal with that that’s real life stress like where’s my income coming from you know uh to sort to answer your question would give the
Playbook to other people absolutely I do it with Fitness all the time right it’s because I wouldn’t want someone to if I
can cut someone’s journey in half my you know compared to my journey then why not you know there’s enough food on the
table if you will like you share the Playbook they don’t follow the Playbook you coach them through it and then they
sit there and they ask you Cam how did you do this right we already had this conversation like you can’t skip steps
right like with lone officers real estate you can always see the ones putting in the hard work but then the ones that are going a little bit more
above and beyond right of the Playbook that you gave them trying to put their own spin on it trying to build their business and I think that’s the biggest
biggest piece for me is like I have those friends like how I met Craig our wives were friends and you know the rest
is history but I’m like I tell my wife I’m like Sue stop I don’t want to take out any more your your your girlfriend’s
husbands or you know they your boyfriends I’m the one and only yeah you know what it’s the only one that worked
out and I I don’t think I ever did it beforehand because it was such a hard stop for me like I uh you know the coach
that I use you know they they talk about contributing giving back right and cutting the journey in half like you
said but at some point you just look at some people and you’re like I don’t want to jeopardize now I’m getting a little
older right not in my s anymore so I’m in my mid s I’m I’m scared to have somebody years old look at me and be
like I’m going to leave the see I’m going to leave as a fire fireman like how how old were you when you left uh
yeah I think and in the background I’m thinking you know what let’s get this kid over because he’s
years old he’s already told me he’s going to keep all his licenses what’s the worst thing he’s got to go back with
a little egg on his on his face worst thing is I think at the time he was expecting kid number three now we’re at
number four good business this was just keep adding to that list um but yeah
it’s it’s tough I don’t yeah and it’s like you said it’s not for everyone and I find that same situation happens with
the fitness work that I do and I help people and give people all the secrets it’s everything that I’ve done the Playbook if you will and some people
just can’t follow it and then they always ask you how how are you doing it it’s like it’s simple all of this is simple you just have to show up right
everybody thinks you know mortgages and real estate is this Advanced like we’re always putting out fires you are but
it’s really the little things you get used to doing the little things really really well and I think that’s it’s monotonous if you will what we do right
can be tedious what made you want to get into like obviously being into fitness a lot of people are into fitness but you
took it a step further you’re documenting your Fitness Ernie you’re coaching people correct yeah just with
meal planning yeah so what made you want to do that you know on social media have all that stuff out there I think I think
I just wanted almost like a journal or a diary for myself and to hold myself accountable so I started putting it out
there and I forgot who I listen to go to the gym for a month people people like where are you you know what I mean but
it’s true like if you put some if you speak it into existence it becomes true and and that happened to me I started recording and putting it out there and
it made me more comfortable with recording myself cuz no one likes to see themselves on camera and hear their voice right but the more I did it the
more I I just started to make advances and that was when I was having the surgery so I was basically I had gained
I think it was like pounds after my third surgery so I got up to pounds and I ended up losing of it for my
competition last year but putting that out there and I’ve always I’ve always struggled with weight my whole life and
I know what it’s like to have that be self-conscious and be you know just not like the way that you look and have to
work so hard to change it so if I could put out any advice to people out there and they could gain some inspiration
from it like that’s that’s kind of what lights my fire if you will that’s why I’ve continued to record it and and put
it out there and when I put it out there for myself and created the diary the feedback that I got from people that I’m
not even really friends with like I’d see them at the grocery store or they’d shoot me a message on Instagram like hey like you’re being super inspiring like
I’ve lost pounds myself from watching you and it’s like you’ve never even liked my videos or you know I don’t even know you’re watching it so once that
started to happen more often it was like this is this is everything you know cuz I struggled with so much like the body
disys morphia all of that and I still do so I know what it’s like you know so if I can help people kind of eliminate that
that’s Kim if I look like you I’d have body morph here too like I’d be so self-conscious like I’d probably go to
the beach and take off my shirt instead I don’t even want to take a shower sometimes and look in the mirror it’s just that’s awesome how quickly did you
lose all that weight and get go from down for the competition uh so the the one of the videos I took was February of
so from February to October of uh
so a year and a half I lost about of it and then I lost the other last
year so it took me about two and a half years one to two pounds a week that’s how you lose body fat but maintain your
lean muscle basically so I did like a what’s called a transformation challenge down in Texas so it’s basically a weight
loss weight loss challenge but you go on stage and present as if like your bodybuilding like a before and after picture before and after and if you make
the top which I did they play your video so you create a video you submit it so you walk on stage they show your before picture then you walk on stage
with your bathing suit on or whatever it is and it was so such a crazy experience and like I’m pretty shy and I don’t like
being the center of attention you know regardless of me being on social media and whatnot but it’s just not my personality so doing that was like a
huge um it it was a big deal for me but I fell in love with it so I did an actual competition the following year
which was last year yeah um and that was fun too in nerve-wracking and now I’m just kind of just keep chasing the doing
another one next year I will I had plans to do one this fall but then I decided to do this half Iron Man that I’m doing
next week so that kind of put a you’re big boy to be doing a half marathon yeah they call they call people that are
PBS plus that do them uh Clydesdale that’s like the class are there a lot of other bigger
guys that do them or there not there’s not many no that’s a lot yeah a lot that consist of so um it’s mil total so
it’s a M swim and then a mile bike ride and then a or a half
marathon run and you just do them one after another so how long does that take um so last year the last place finisher
finished in eight hours there were or people that didn’t finish yeah yeah uh I’d like to do it in six and a half
hours it’s my first one so there’s different levels to Iron Man’s there’s a What’s called the Sprint and an Olympic
so you’re looking at like a – mile bike ride a K run and maybe a quarter mile swim so you’re supposed to start with that and get used to the transition
you just went I was like I’m just going to try yeah yeah so rip it off why not a self-employed mentality right there just
rip it I’m I’m someone that’s pretty systematic so I created a program um actually chat GPT helped me create it
which is pretty wild this Iron Man training and I’ve been following it since January so seven days a week every four weeks the program changes and I’ve
just been checking off the boxes just showing up so I’ve missed uh four workouts in six months which is pretty
wild so every day yeah seven days a week yeah and my lasic surgery that I had so
I couldn’t swim for a couple sessions there were days that I didn’t do the workout but I just pushed it back to the next day but in those seven days I never
missed any yeah so that’s a week from Saturday you still lifting on top of doing five days a week yeah but the
intensity got peeled back you can’t you can’t have both it’s it’s impossible so my weight sessions used to be about an
hour now they’re like to minutes just to get the blood flowing you know what do you think the most important thing in the nutrition working out and
obviously get up with your feet on the ground and just go do it yeah you find it to be like Diet is it % so I’ve
been talking about that a lot on social media that’s so I’ve been doing eight and a half hours of cardio a week for the last three months I think which is
pretty pretty wild and I weigh more now than I did last year when I was prepping
for my bodybuilding show and I’m doing far more cardio so you can’t outwork a bad diet it’s what you eat I was so
dialed in last year to the calorie the grams of protein the grams of carbohydrates and fats um so
aesthetically people look at you and when you’re competing for training for a bodybuilding show you look a certain way
you look like a some freak athlete but in reality like some of those guys aren’t even in great shape now I’m in the best cardio shape I’ve ever been in
in my life and I don’t look nearly as good as I did last year crazy if you think about it cuz you watch a lot of those Iron Man’s or whatever kind of
competitions like that that are more cardio and endurance and you know they’re they’re not obese people by any
means but they’re not cut up they’re not they don’t have the lean they don’t have the muscle mass no and then you go on a body bodybuilding show and these guys
are all ripped up but you ask them to run a mile and they probably can’t right right so it’s wild yeah it’s it it’ll be
it’ll be fun for sure it’ll be cool to compete it cuz when I had my last surgery when they re built my knee my surgeon and Boston told me that I would
never be able to run again basically he was like your days of playing basketball are done you’re never going to be a runner and I wasn’t a runner at the time
so I was like yeah great sounds good great but yeah just kind of I watch a lot of David goggin stuff and some of
those other guys insane yeah there’s something to the mental Clarity you get when you push yourself past what you
think you can do and I think a lot of people just set these limitations on themselves whether it’s business or uh physical fitness and it’s cool to try to
break those barriers every time what’s your next barrier with the work side real estate side so making the move that
I did this past winter coming over from Kell Williams and Easton to ReMax to be closer to home um my goal is to just
build a team um I don’t want a massive team I just want a hyperfocused laser
focused team with three or four people on it maybe an admin and just just do what I’ve been doing yeah that’s that’s
the goal I I don’t have any aspirations of like building this massive brand or anything I mean having a big team is
it’s a lot of time that you end up spending where at times your production can be better with a few people that are
just highly trained highly qualified hard workers that follow the same system
where otherwise you end up chasing around people that are all part-time they’re not following the plan
and you know you’re not going to get the best production out of them you know it it is I I see it I see it I work with a
lot of different real estate teams and I work you know our own company and different offices or different other companies around and and you see it and
it’s like the some of the best production comes out of the small teams that you know are way more
dedicated trained and uh disciplined is probably one of the biggest pieces too
because you know it is it is easy when you have this type of job where you don’t have somebody making you punch
that clock to right man go to the beach today because it’s yep you’re not going to see us at the beach on a Monday
when it’s degrees no matter how nice it is which just not going to happen it’s not part of what we have to do you
know right right did you have coaching back to the nutrition he wants to just keep
going on the real estate on the nutrition did you get coaching advice like who helped you out getting to that
point like I find myself I’ve paid for coaching kind of but I wasn’t %
dedicated to it so I was like peeled back on that where they’re like measure out all your food that’s why I asked you
if it’s more the nutrition or the working out piece the working out seemed like to be a little bit easier for me
yeah I mean if if you come from so to answer your question yes I had coaching for my um both the transformation
challenge that I did and the bodybuilding show I had a a coach that helped me with my meal planning not working out cuz I’ve been working out
for years but with he was the one I would send him my weight once a week we would check in and he would give me my
macro numbers right grams of carbs fats calories and protein um and we would just check in weekly and it’s basically
it’s he’s an accountability coach so you have to check in and you don’t want to have a bad weigh in because you know
you’re kind of slacking off you know um and it’s better to do it with somebody that you know and respect I think that
you’re connected to because you really don’t want to let you can you can’t avoid them exactly exactly wasn’t yours online or something
California the guy was uh the coach was based out of Las Vegas yeah some people can do it you know there are some people
that have that mindset and and they can do the distance coaching and and they do great with it some people are robotic
you know it’s it’s hard i’ get the workouts in I’d eat the food but then I wasn’t seeing any results really and it
was like six months in so I probably gave up a little bit soon right were you using a food scale like were you
measuring out all your food or just kind of eyeball my wife was eyeballing that yeah so until I had my appendix removed
and I kind threw it all off like thank God for the appendix I really wasn’t enjoying it like I don’t mind going to
the gym the food was the hardest part because you have to just keep eating
right like I mean Craig and I are very similar in that sense like if I don’t eat breakfast I’m good with it if I if I
miss lunch I’m okay with it that’s the number one thing that people do incorrectly is they undereat Everybody
underere Eats and it’s funny because people equate eating more to gaining more weight when it’s the exact opposite
so I’ve helped over people uh and there’s a gim in Taunton called raw the owner Micah brought me in to do like a
fitness challenge with the girls that work out there and we’ve have over people run through the program just eight we programs we programs and
every single female the number one thing that they complained about was cam I can’t eat this much this is too much I’m like please just just stick with it and
every single person lost one to two pounds per week over the challenge and they were like this is incredible because the more that you eat the more
your your metabolism is going to be revved up I’ve wrecked mine I mean the polar opposite with that I don’t eat
until % of the time I don’t eat until I go home and the other thing is the more protein you eat you it satiates you
or satisfies you which means there’s no room for Cravings that we all get randomly throughout the day so if you stop the snacking and eat as much
protein as you can you’re going to be full that’s the other thing people don’t do people especially in our society no one eats enough protein like this weird
thing that’s going on this fasting is you know fasting is a Hot Topic ketogenic diet is a Hot Topic it’s like
the the reason people lose weight is it’s energy in versus energy out you have to figure out what your basil metabolic rate is so how many calories
do you need to survive per day and then I do some simple math and make a slight reduction in that if you want to lose
weight and then you stick to those numbers and every few weeks once you get stagnant we cut the numbers a little bit more or we increase your activity a
little bit more I’m I’m thinking we have an office challenge coming up get in
here sign everybody you’ll see the before and after transformation you need to get the whole office involved because
we can’t have Jersey mics out there me seeing that I just walk by T I’m and
everybody’s in shape in here me and Craig walking around the epito bar move half the time my body hurts well the
beauty the flexible dieting is you can dabble into some of those things you can have a jersey mic sub if you make it fit
your numbers for the day obviously you’re not going to have that every day right um but the beauty of the flexible
dieting is you can’t be restrictive because you’re you’re a ticking Time Bomb if you do if you’re strict strick trick just eat chicken and rice for
weeks and weeks on end what’s going to happen you’re going to lose your mind that’s kind of where my diet was with that coach I me these guys I was eating
the same thing all day every day I I don’t like chicken I eat it but I don’t like it I don’t eat chicken and rice all the time I eat pretty diverse menu so
yeah I could eat that all day I used to I mean I used to actually some people be in shape and eat like that and do it I
never got dialed in with my diet I kind of just would work out I would live for two to two and a half hours a day right
five six days a week and I would I was but I never had that cutness to me like I was just like a block yeah he had a
lot of Mass on yeah and I just because I never actually focused on the diet and I
just never wanted I don’t know I never really wanted to put the work into do it or focus on it enough even though
everything you watch is telling you that and telling you this and telling you you need to watch what you eat or you know count your Macros and all this and I
that was the only piece that I didn’t have but we’re going to do it and and I’m not saying that people that don’t
exercise shouldn’t start exercising to try to lose weight cuz you will lose weight if you lead a non-active lifestyle you’re going to lose weight
it’s the people that do exercise and don’t see results like there’s a reason right and it’s because you’re not not
eating properly that’s that’s it we got dial this in all we have to do is start eating breakfast and lunch that’s why I had my protein shake
today I’m already I’m already losing weight right now sitting just running through my system make sure you’re getting your fluids in you the hardest
part is just walking out with the Shake in the morning like when when I got into it and I was just walking out the door
with the shake drinking it in the car ride over that’s out of the way but then it’s like there were so many meals like
when you’re really trying to like lose weight or get in shape I feel like I was eating like six or times a day it was all like measured out you’re not just
allowed to eat a large Jersey might sub and go ham it’s just it’s so I mean I think it is hard like if you’re busy and
you don’t meal prep like there the options to eat healthy outside of making your food yourself it’s impossible
minimal yeah and and even if you try you don’t know what’s in the food so you’re just guessing at that point hoping full
of all this stuff that you’re not supposed to be eating but yeah I mean you have to do that and that’s the biggest and the hardest part you get
someone to make the food you make the food too yeah for us no I was like wait
time out this is the best guess ever on mortgage dad he’s like he makes the food coaches us this is amazing I actually
when I was prepping last year I paid somebody a local kid he doesn’t do it anymore but he was making all the protein so I once a week I’d pick up
like four or five pounds of chicken or steak or whatever so and he’d weigh it all out for me so I just put it in my tupp Weare and just just like having a
program it’s robotic I just wake up this is what I’m eating every meal day how many times a day do you eat so depending
on what you’re on it but I’m of the school of thought that it doesn’t matter
so it’s calories in vers calories out just get them all in at some now depending on your body type if you have to eat like for I was eating like
calories a day I can’t eat calories in one sitting of good food right so I had to eat multiple times throughout the day but I’m typically I
wake up I eat something after I come home from the gym I eat something else I eat something a few hours later and then I have dinner and I’m a late night eater
so I ate every night during my competition before bed people think you can’t eat before bed it’s a Croc you can
I used to watch I’ve been during my whole life Jake Cutler’s videos when I was into lift and weights he’d wake up
middle of the night to eat multiple times that’s not his ADV that’s not advised anymore cuz that is I mean those guys look like they were going to die
too you need to sleep a lot of them have too that’s another thing people neglect so it’s diet arguably sleep is like a
close second and then activity you need adequate sleep yeah we go go go all the time and like sleeping is the last
thought at the end of the day if you don’t get the the correct amount of sleep your hormones aren’t being secreted properly right so your body’s
just not functioning so you’re not recovering correctly you’re not producing the testosterone you’re supposed you’re supposed to you’re going to have digestive issues it’s all sorts
of things stem from not getting adequate sleep and it’s never talked about so that’s incredible to me it always comes
down to diet which is like one of the hardest things to uh to to see through
what we need to find is somebody to cook us some protein so anybody on the podcast watching this you’re out there
you meal prep you want to do it for a couple fat guys over at uh mortgage daddies feel free to give us a call shot
us DM let me know cam this has been uh eye opening and the last two
episodes great content Dean Snell had your dad on yeah nice talked a
lot about golf balls I’m sure he did and everything he’s done which was which was pretty crazy I mean I’ve heard him talk
about it for for years and stuff and obviously been a part of it but for him to get on and kind of like go over it
all and what goes into it I don’t think a lot of people really understand it you know with with I mean it would you got
to check it out when that when we air that one because you’d love it um in kind of like you know different types of golf balls materials what you
need for certain you know swing speeds and everything that nobody really gets and I mean what you do is kind of similar to that you got to figure out
what works for the certain person to gear that towards what they need yeah and that’s pretty much what he’s doing
just with golf balls yeah have you started coaching on the fitness side as well yeah that’s awesome I help a bunch
of people just with me I don’t do anything like personal training in person just because it’s you can’t scale and it takes too much time to be there
um I just help people with basically an accountability coach and I help them with their meals you said it’s not a one- siiz fits-all program it’s I I do
the math based off your body weight your level activity your age I deal with a lot of females so some of them go through menopause they have their time
of the month they get bloated they gain weight um so there’s it’s pretty in-depth and it goes person to person
for sure it takes me a few weeks to figure out what your body’s doing but once we get rolling it’s it’s usually
pretty good yeah it is pretty simple we over complicate everything for sure are you looking for more uh more more people
to coach depends depends who it is all right I do EMS only I I do it as a
passion project right that’s what I tell everybody so I I don’t just take on anybody and I try to do it for a three-month minimum program to make sure
that you’re dedicated you know because it it takes a lot of time for sure which even though doing those challenges in in
Taunton it uh it got to a point where we had to stop doing them for a few months
I’m like this is too much I would have like people texting me on like a Thursday morning for the check-ins you know and I have to get back to every
single one and you want them to feel included and it’s a lot I’d rather just deal with a handful of dedicated people
it’s like a fun hobby it’s a exactly exactly I don’t make much money doing it you know make money selling real estate
you need to buy a house give them a call yep I don’t want to lose weight maybe not buy a house and then he’ll coach you
to lose weight once you get the house do like a free thre month training or something there we go not a bad little
gift but all right guys well thank you for uh checking out the episode thank you my man for coming in this it’s been
awesome we’ll love to do this again for sure let’s do thank you
